You won’t believe what Aaron Cockerill was given after making an ace at the Omega Masters
Be honest, we all hate when a tour star makes a hole-in-one, only to turn around and realise they’ve won some outrageous supercar to add to their collection. Seriously, how fair is that?
Well, the balance has now been settled after a DP World Tour player received what fans are describing as ‘the worst hole-in-one prize of all time.’
Teeing up at the Omega Masters, Aaron Cockerill aced the par-3 13th at Crans-sur-Sierre, and was rewarded with none other than… life insurance?
That’s right, 30,000 Swiss Frank (roughly £26,500) of life insurance courtesy of tournament sponsor Vaudoise Insurances. Incredible.
As always, fans on Twitter had a field day after finding out what Cockerill had bagged…
Worst hole in one prize ever. Would prefer a drink in the bar
