Just when we thought nothing could top LIV Golf vs the PGA Tour, the sport now has a new feud to contend with after Bryson DeChambeau went at it with a, ermm, gallery rope?
That’s right. Despite being built like an absolute unit, the big hitting American took a tumble for the ages at LIV Golf Chicago after colliding with a rope guarding the fairway during round three.
Producing a reaction which warrants an Oscar, here’s how DeChambeau’s bizarre encounter played out in all its glory…
“Off with his head!” Muttered David Feherty in the most David Feherty way possible as DeChambeau hit the deck in the Saudi-backed series. Awkward.
DeChambeau eventually regained his composure after being in some distress, dusting himself down to birdie the hole before finishing T8 at Rich Harvest Farms.
But surprisingly, the video quickly went viral as Twitter had its usual field day…
