Rose Zhang is proving why she is the World’s Number 1 Amateur golfer by breaking records left, right and centre at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. She set the course record on day one at Champion’s Retreat, only to break it 24 hours later by carding a 6-under par 65 that included 6 birdies and an eagle.
Zhang is a Callaway staffer, so which of their clubs is she using to break records this season?
What’s in Rose Zhang’s bag?
Rose switched straight into the new Callaway Paradym driver as soon as it was available this year. She opts to play the Triple Diamond model which we see many other tour players such as Jon Rahm put in play. After this, her set-up stays fairly old school with a few different generations of products in play.
Zhnag carries two fairway woods, a 3-wood and a 5-wood. Both are the Callaway Rogue ST LS models. She then switches into a Callaway Mavrik 4 and 5-hybrid. We are seeing more and more 5 hybrids on the LPGA Tour as the extra height helps with stopping power on fast, firm greens.
She then carries a full set 2021 Callaway Apex from 6-iron down to pitching wedge. Rose uses three Callaway Mack Daddy 5 Jaws Raw in 50, 54 and 58 degrees.
Rose rounds out her bag with a Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Double Wide putter and the Callaway Chrome Soft X golf ball.
